On April 29, we told you that Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut were in the running for Vishal Bhardwaj's Saif Ali Khan-Shahid Kapoor starrer (untitled as yet), to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
SpotboyE.com now has it that Kangana has won the race.
This casting news comes on the heels of a recent controversy the two ladies were involved in. This awards season, Deepika had dedicated an award she won for Happy New Year to Kangana for Queen. Kangana was miffed with Deepika for not calling her directly. Finally things seemed to have settled down between them only last week when Deepika called up Kangana and cleared the air. So, it would be interesting to know how Deepika feels now about losing the role to Kangana.
The film in question has created a lot of buzz since Kareena Kapoor’s husband and ex-boyfriend have (surprisingly) agreed to work together.
